PARENTS' CORNER

 

 

At Butterfly Village Kids College, we think of young children as inquisitive and naturally curious about their world. Children’s questions provide a foundation for learning.  We believe in giving children concrete experiences through field studies, which prompt them to ask thoughtful questions and lead to real investigations. This cycle of inquiry taps into children’s intellect and promotes engaged learning.  That’s why we explore the world of Adventure, From on-site field trips to the Tampa Aquarium, the Dali Museum, and many other exciting places.  We take at least two field trips a month or more.  An example, we visited the Mahaffey Theater for a magic show and the excellent children’s play Thumbelina.

 

As an educator, I am confident your child will graduate ready for Kindergarten and beyond.  We at Butterfly Village Kids College understand that a child’s readiness is more than simple shapes, numbers, colors, and letters. We educate the “whole child” and focus on social, emotional and cognitive development. We believe that children’s ability to negotiate, express themselves, wait for their turn, and get along with friends are essential components to their success. Our children become thinkers, authors, decision-makers, and future leaders.
